ABOUT
I hold both an MFA in Interactive Media & Game Design from the University of Southern California, where I developed and produced games with an emphasis on narrative design, as well as a BA in Fiction Writing from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Throughout my career, I’ve focused on telling character-driven stories in various genres: How actions have a cause and effect, how plot impacts the inner-transformation of the self, and how character interactions push the plot forward. From a fiction standpoint, I have a strong fascination with character studies.
Fun facts about myself: I’ve consumed all forms of horror media since I was a 4-year-old, and I have a physical video game collection that is currently sitting at around 900 titles!

A seated VR horror game built for the Oculus Rift. You ride through pitch-black tunnels in a minecart with flash photography as creatures look for you based on sound- and vision-based mechanics.
Created for my MFA thesis, this tunnel of horrors draws inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft, classic creature features, and modern survival horror games.
